I have that same ragged box and the same purple shells. Made for Western Auto by Federal. I bought the box I have at the Western Auto store in Montpelier Idaho in January of 1961. Still has 10 rounds in it.

I have about 17. Pretty neat. I got a buddy that has a 16, and if we can get together, i'll shoot 3 or 4.

I had a case of that a couple of years ago. Everyone I fired would have brass separation at the rim, ended up tearing it down for the shot.
I just love the old boxes. The just seem classier.
