snows melted and I could get to the shed with the grill in it. to celebrate, back straps on the grill and sliced potatoes and onion wrapped in foil. Doesn't get much better. I love back straps on the grill and although its hard I try not to eat them all in the winter so I have them for grilling. We have back straps on the grill at least once a week till the snow flys again. If we have a poor deer year I alternate back straps and cube steaks.

Keep mine under a car port so it gets used all year . I love grilled food there is nothing better. Neighbors think i am a little crazy to see me out in rain or snow grilling.

We have been at it for about a month now. Of course, Arkansas is a little easier to do that than Michigan I imagine.

I smoked a pork butt for 8 hours on Good Friday. Man, it was some kind of good.

I need to drag the Traeger out... been to busy working to get the garden ready to do that...

My spine can only handle so much each day and 2 hours in the garden maxes me out.

We never put ours away and use it as needed all winter.

Grilling and smoking are year round sports in these parts.

I smoke all year round. I can set up the smoker and go in the house where its warm. Im not going to stand in the cold to grill and if I could all year round id have to put my minimum deer kill every year from 20 to 40 just to have enough back straps to get me through the year[smilie=l:
