AARP seems to think I want to join. Wrong! But the envelope urges recycling so I tacked it up and tried my first home powder coated boolits. Three shots sitting at about 20 yds. 44-40/200gr fp/ 5.3grs Red Dot. What am I missing?? We eat at Denney's a few times a year and their AARP discount pays for the annual dues, plus I get my vehicle insurance thru AARP. Their magazine and constant "offers" are a pain, but.....

AARP is the 'non-gov' portion of obammacare. A marketing agency that gets a bunch of gov. (aka, medicare) money NOT an underwriter OR insurance company!
Yea, she gives me the mail addressed to me. Hearing aid, cremation, burial, AARP stuff, secret healing potions, etc. She takes the return provided stamps off and puts on her outgoing. Sly fox.

A guy I use to work with had worked for a fellow who whenever he got mail with return postage guarantee from an organization he hated would send my friend out to get a cinder block, smash it and box it up then attach the return guaranteed label on it and drop it off at the post office. Not exactly a nice thing to do but yet very satisfying.

The problem is that their political agenda is 180 degrees from mine. I really resent their part in implementing "Affordable Health Care". That Denny's honors their members with a discount but doesn't honor the competition is on Denny's not the AARP. I refuse to give AARP one more body to count among their supporters or a single dollar in support. I choose AMAC as a matter of principle even though financial considerations would say go the other way.
