Dear friend in a bad way

Early in our relationship me wife and I were blessed with an incredible couple to be our neighbors- Walt is a veteran and spent many years as a firefighter- an Axe men, a door kicker he went in to save people- then he became a ems tech and later in life a arson inspector. As part of the Axemen biker club he’s done thousands of charitable events and runs for sick children and children burn victims- even went to clown college because he said those kids deserve better than old fake clown. Anyhow a giving a moral man who was happy to teach what he knew- was friends with Chuck Buck of Buck knives and also personal friends with some members of the British rock bands Humble Pie and fog hat- when he met people he made an impact on them. Well he’s had two strokes back to back and while he’s awake and conscious he’s not here any more- no response to outside stimuli. He has a wonderful wife and children and grandkids and an army of friends- I’m asking for prayers for my friends family- and that he may pass peacefully cause recovery is not an option barring a miracle. Walt knew the Word of God- was Saved by Christ- had been Shepard to the lost and weak- myself included. I count him as a memeber of Gods warrior brotherhood. They’d just come back from wintering in FL- and these last few weeks with work and a new baby we’d put off getting together with them- always next week- next weekend.
Don’t put those meetings with loved ones off, we aren’t here on our own time- it’s all borrowed. Thanks for reading my rambling post about my very good friend.

Lord be with Walt , be with his family and friends in this hard time . Provide healing comfort and guidance for all . Strengthen this family and let them feel your presence . We thank you for all you do in their lives . Amen

nagantguy I can get a pretty vivid picture of your friend Walt. I can see that he is in good hands right now with the great shepherd. I can also feel the hurt that comes when we lose someone as special as Walt. I know I would have liked him just as so many others because he is that kind of guy.
Dear Lord I ask that you have your sovereign way with this selfless man who has touched so many, and made such a positive impact on this world. We commit him into your loving hands. We would say that we desire you allow Walt more quality time on this earth if it is in your will. If you should allow this saint to pass through the veil of death, please provide unusual comfort and peace to the friends and family of this dear friend of nagantguy. In your wonderful name. Amen.
