Needing prayer for Momma

Momma called and said she was going to the ER. Her sister was telling me she was real confused and not able to say what she was thinking. And she didn't know who their friend Glen was. So I went and got her and took her to the ER. That's where we are now.

They are thinking maybe stroke but she don't show any other signs. Not sure what's going on.

Prayers appreciated.

So far we've had tests but no answers.

Dr just came in. All tests normal. They are thinking with her symptoms she might have had a mini stroke, but not bad enough to show up. Something about a TIA also. They want to keep her over night and run more tests.

They're saying mini stroke for sure now. Her blood pressure was 190/96. They're running more tests.

Thank you everyone for the prayers. Thank God it wasn't a bad stroke, coulda been a lot worse. They said no damage in the MRI and are going to start her on blood thinners. Keeping her over night at least and having more tests tomorrow.

Just a note on blood thinners, even minimal dose may have adverse side effects so its important her prescriber to know/review your mom's medical history
