My cousin has started doing Gunsmithing
Mostly AR 15's and AR 10's
But some varmint rifles
He stopped over to ** for a while this afternoon
After a while , I just had to ask what the grin was about
He laughed and got a TC Contender barrel from his truck
He said enjoy , but don't start any brush fires
It was a "CUSTOM" 4" 223 Contender barrel
1 - 10 twist blue barrel .... that and more stamped on the barrel
Just drilled & tapped for a scope base .... he was to cheap to give me a base LOL
It even has the dovetail set up to mount a forearm
He said he made a couple of Contender barrels from extra chunks of varmint rifle barrels
I was given a barrel he made to test out how he was going to do things
For grins I got out a frame & forearm and some 60 gr full power cast bullet loads
These were pure Linotype and pushed by H335
LOL All I can say is LOUD and a Muzzle FLASH
No clue how the barrel groups , as we only shot 3 rounds and didn't have a scope on yeat
Not sure just what I am going to use the barrel for
As when you put ammo in the barrel
You can see the bullet not far down the barrel
Maybe REAL close range groundhogs ;)
