This is a spiritual battle and the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, and our enemy is not flesh and blood. To be properly equipped we need the whole armor of God. Ephesians 6:10-18.

I share the prayer.

Many Assemblies I preach in have a prayer room we gather in before the service. There are 5 preachers in the picture & 3 Pastors. You're looking at 2 Pentecostals & 3 Free Will Baptist ministers all from different Churches. That's how revival goes round here most the time. I've been honored to preach in all their Assemblies.

This world seems to grow darker each day. The adversaries of Christianity are all round us, both physical & spiritual. As bad as it seems I refuse to give up. We are the Redeemed of Christ. We are in Him & Him in us. We aren't defeated because we serve a victorious King. I will call on Him & He shall hear & answer. The blessed Book I carry gives witness of this time & time again. Pray for your services, pray for the lost, pray for the preacher, pray that in all we do, the Glory is The Lord's.

I agree that it is a dark time in our country with things going on at all levels of our government and in neighborhoods close to us all. Jesus is the Light of the world and he came to empower us to shine that light. It reminds me of that old song "The Lighthouse" which says if it wasn't for that lighthouse, where would this ship be? There is another old song which speaks of us being lights in a dark place, "Let the lower lights be burning...some poor fainting, struggling seaman we may rescue, we may save."
