Powder for 38 Super

What powder are you using in your supers? I think I used to use 540, but it has been about 10 years since I loaded for it. I am still shooting ammo from my ISPC days that I had loaded. I am shooting a 5" gun with a ramped Nowlin barrel without a comp.

I am planning on shooting the 125 Lee CB boolit and want to go about 1250-1300 fps. I Made some dummy rounds and it cycles great. It is a plain based boolit with a decent meplat and I am thinking it should make a great small game boolit.

I use a lot of Blue Dot but will probably move over to HS-6 as it meters better. S/F....Ken M
