Without reservation the biggest surprise ive received in while. I am impressed, excellent quality. Out performs all rcbs priming tools i have, including the bench primer. Heavy duty construction through out. No plastic observed with the exception of the primer tray which is also well thought out. A lot less effort required to seat a primer. Less travel of the handle to seat primers with a very positive stop mechanism. Adjustable seating depth. Simple and easy shell holder change out. No disassembley required. Shell holders are included with the tool. Most popular calibers are covered. The shell holders are marked. Each has a marked storage position inside the fitted case. Yes, a case. Put one of these bad boy's in your hand and smile. They work really well. It takes approx 20-30 seconds to change out a shell holder and primer size. If you need a new hand priming tool, or even if you dont, get yourself one of these.

I agree. It’s the best hand primer I’ve owned.

If it’s “new” it seems bad timing to put the RCBS bench prime on sale.

Is it smaller than the rcbs hand priming tool? I’m still using the old lee auto prime but was given a rcbs, the rcbs is huge compared to the lee. I like the solidness of the rcbs tool but the lee feels better and is easier for me to operate.

Frankford Hand Primer is big like tank. Heavy like tank. Tank not break.

I like the square primer tray and they include all the shell holders I will ever need in the case.

The lee was aluminum and I wore out three of them. Frankford.......not.

I see it for sale for nearly double that of the RCBS tool, which I already have and works. Hard sell for me.

I hope rcbs has something in the works for an upgrade. Prices on their tools have been dropping. Maybe the word is out.

I just used the FA hand primer for the first time. Great tool. It is alot beefier than my old Lee hand primer. I love that I can adjust seating depth.

I've had most of the priming tools Lee has made and an RCBS. I really like the FA hand primer. Yes the price is higher than you expect but it comes with shell holders that will handle probably 95% of what anyone needs. I've only had to add 1 to it, it uses the same shell holders as the lee hand primers.

I have one and love it as well. Super heavy duty. Best hand primer out there.
