Iron sights. You have my admiration. Just for trying. Windage was spot on and all shots a little high but clustered nicely. Darn good shooting.

Jack I know folks that can't hit a golf ball with an 18x scope on a .223 at that distance. Ya never know till ya put the lead in the air[emoji16]

I went to check Homer at 1000yds on day with Mel Hoffman. On the ground next to the Buffalo Silhouette at Ridgway was an egg with a hole through the middle. Asked Mel - 'Who Shot this" - he just smiled. He was using a 6mm BR scoped rifle

Jack, Another day at Ridgway in June 2007, John Kort was spotting for me: Uberti 1860, stock sights, 255 gr Ideal 454190 and 35g FFg powder .. 546yds (500m) ... 2 in a row. Also finished the bank with several misses
