RCBS benchtop Primer tube anti bounce mod

Got tired of the primer tube bouncing so much so I drilled in 2 dowels and rubberbanded a piece of foam rubber to deaden the bounce

Did it fix the problem?
I like simple fixes. This looks like one that might work.

It really helps, I would recommend larger dowels because the dowels "bounce" a little :groner:

I have large and small tubes that hold a little over 50 primers. 50 is plenty of primers for my rifle batches and there is a lot less flopping. Pleasure to use.
