I want to add my yes sir! to that as well. The big name hunting shows have done our younger folks a disservice by glorifying the antler count, the spread, etc. In my book, any whitetail is a trophy to be proud of. I know of a young turkey hunter that by some quirk got stopped by the game warden who somehow knew that the kid had shot a young turkey, known as a Jake. He had just thrown into a feed trough for cattle that was on the farm. When asked by the game warden about it he said it was just a Jake! I like to shoot a big racked deer and a long beard turkey as much as the next guy, but I sure won't put someone down for shooting a small deer or turkey. Like I said, they are all trophys.

Isn't a shame when competition, money, or ego gets involved with something as important as hunting and gathering? I've often said I wished deer were like rabbits, and you could not determine gender until they were in the hand.
