I just cast a hundred 140 gr RN bullets out of ww in my new LEE mould and I lubed them with the liquid Alox. I have some 2400 and I was thinking that I'd try 11 grains of 2400 for my first load. I think that'll push the bullet out at around 1100 fps. Is this too fast for straight wheel weights?

Properly sized, you can push a WW boolet as fast as a .357 is able. Slug the bore and chamber to see where you are, but if you don't have the tools, over size the boolets .001 for .358 and see what's what. Probably work just fine like that.

Thanks! I ended up using 13 grains of 2400 and I got decent accuracy and a little leading. Maybe I need to size the bullet.

Howdy Button... Do as Snapping Twig recommended and determin your cylinder throat size.. You have got to fill them... Take one of your boolits and see if it will fall through the cylinder (toooo small) or if they are a snug fit (OK) or tight sliding through (BEST)...
Then what is your barrel diameter... Hopefully smaller than the cylinder throats. If not. well there are solutions.. But find out the maesurements.... THis is STEP # 1 Not later down the road.
