I just bought a large lot of ammo at a consignment local auction, and what I was told was 7.62x54, is actually 7.5 Mas. Anyone know what the going rate is for good pretty clean ammo, a few rounds have tarnish spots on them, but fired them thru one of my guns and it hit a little high, so must be regulated. I have a quite a bit for sale. I have no need for this, and wanted to know what a good price would be, to pass it on.

I haven’t seen any milsurp ammo in that flavor in a while but Privi and PPU have modern boxer primed ammo on some of the wearhouse sites for around .75 a round- not much help but its what I saw recently getting a cousin who isn’t a hand loader or caster shooting his newly acquired 7.5.

I just bought some PPU 7.5x54 French ammo for a rifle I picked up. Was like less than 15 dollars a box plus freight.

I thought it shot well in my MAS 1936...think it's 139gr ball....but they may offer a soft-point too

Your ammo unless some thing special would be priced fairly at some number less than new PPU ammo. PPU has boxer non corrosive primers and is new production. It is usually $14 to $17 a box of 20.

I have about 300+ rounds, I would take $60 shipped in the lower 48.

Is your 7.5 MAS French production? Likely not, if you shot any of it, the French and Syrian production is notorious for having dead primers that are ferociously corrosive if they go off! What is the headstamp?

Are you sure you didn't get 7.62 X 54 for the Mosin Nagant rifle ... do the rounds have a rim ?
