Hi all,

I was getting frustrated with the spare tool head clanking around my bench and storage areas and made a 3d printed stand for it.

I've uploaded it to thingiverse.com for anyone that would like to print one of their own. My only request is that you don't sell them.

It can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3504474

I've gotten a lot of good information from guys and gals just like you and this is my super small way of giving something back.

What is your cost for materials only?
I am ignorant and curious.
Thank-you

So, a roll of filament that I would use to print something like this would cost right at $20.

There's a thousand grams of filament on that $20 roll.

The software I use estimates that you would use 108 grams of filament to produce this part.

So, by weight, its just shy of 11% of that roll, or 11% of $20. So, roughly $2.20 in raw material.

Have a great evening!

I am surprised!
Much cheaper than I thought.
Nice stand.
Cheers for donating your time.

I've been the recipient of a great many morsels of advice and or problem solving on boards like this. Just returning the neighborly favor = )
