Hello all. Newbie here but have been lurking for years. I recently purchased a NOE 44 mold and it is throwing a 260 grain grain boolit. It is very close to the Keith design . Does anyone here load this boolit and if I you I would appreciate any loads you may have . I have several pounds of 2400 and H110.Mold is marked 434-258 swc. Thanks
Welcome aboard. You are going to like it here. Lots of fun. I don't load that one but if you scroll up you will see a thread titled favorite cast boolit loads. check that one out

You did not say if the .44 Mag was for a rifle or pistol. With that cartridge there is a very important distinction:
The SAAMI specs for a pistol require a barrel groove diameter to be .429".
The SAAMI specs for a rifle require a barrel groove diamter to be .431".
Of course, the groove diameter of your barrel, either way, can surely be different. In other words, YMMV.
From the SAAMI website:
Pistol
238135
Rifle
238136
This will make a big difference in the sized diameter of your boolit. You will find much info about this within the webpages of this site. Welcome aboard.
The H110 and 2400 is going to be for hotter higher velocity loads. There is a fairly small recommended range of charge for both powders.

You might use the data in Lyman CBH #4 for the 265 gr cast as a guide.

What gun are you going to use this bullet in?
Not all 44 magnums are the same.
A Freedom Arms or a BFR will take loadings that will turn lesser
guns into junk!

You can check hodgen or alliant website for data with those powders.

you probably wont be able to download h110 enough for that speed unless its a snub nose maybe, over bullet weights and barrel lengths h110 is usually 1300-1500fps. maybe 18gr 2400 could give you your speed, that's minimum book data though. might want to grab a pound of unique or something similar if you plan on hanging out in that velocity.

The Redhawk will take any load you want to put through it.
A few years ago Handloader magazine had a write up about +P loadings for the 44.

For those speeds I primarily use HS-6 or Power Pistol in my Redhawk. Of course there are others that will work too. H110 and 2400 are just not the best choices for that.

10 gr of Unique should get close to that. As mentioned already HS-6, or Power Pistol could easily get that velocity.

Dirt Dauber - WELCOME !
That Redhawk is a strong gun.
H110 is a great powder for full power magnum loads but it doesn't like to be downloaded. For 1100-1150 fps with that heavy 260 grain bullet you may want to look at Unique or ww231.
That bullet is a little on the heavy side to be called a "Keith" but I understand what you are saying in terms of the profile. You shouldn't have any problems getting that bullet into that velocity range while remaining within acceptable pressures.
Consult a reloading manual but I agree with the others, about 10 grains of Unique or ww231 [HP-38] should get you close with a 44 Magnum casing and that 260 grain bullet.

Don't download H110.
2400 can be adjusted to suit your needs. I use a heavy charge of either one with anything from a 245 to 310 grain cast boolit sized to .430 for my SRH.
If I where looking to do what you want, I'd start with 17 grains of 2400.

Although the red hawk is a strong gun don't think it can't be overloaded. Any gun can.
