Seperating shot

I have been reading your guys threads for a little while now. And I have got to tell you there is alot of great info here. I have just got into reloading shot gun shells and I made my own shotmaker which I got the idea from a thread on here. But I was wondering how everybody else seperates thier shot after thier casting session? Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

I bought a few cheap cheese graters with 2.5mm holes, they came with their own containers. I opened one up to 3mm one to 3.5 and one to 4mm with my drill though. Fill 'em up and shake into a tray. Now I have it working well I only have to use the 4mm one to take out the big drips and the rest tends to be even anyway.

I mainly use my shot for 16 yd trap practice and skeet

SO unless it is a huge piece of shot

I just load it and shoot it , mainly a 1 oz load at 1150 fps

My skeet scores are up and my trap scores are the same as with store bought shot

Can you supply the link to what system your using from here please. I was gonna buy a Littleton but im sure theirs a better way for alot less money. Thanks.

I use a coffee can that is drilled for the size shot I want and spin it with a drill the can is at a angle the right size shot falls out the over sized overflows. I use that for 8s than I use one of those wire letter baskets to shift the shot then it lets the 9s out everthing else goes back in the melter.
