looking for a tip on where I could find carrier assembly for a large frame marlin 1881

any help much appreciated

Thanks for reply yes they do have a few parts just not the one I need.
there must be a lever gunsmith that could make it I would think??

AFAIK, the carrier "assembly" consists of the two parts Numrich does list (the carrier body & the 2-pronged carrier block (feeding) spring) - but what do I know ?

I believe that this is a complete carrier, although for the small action:

I would think that if you could find such a gunsmith, he would need an example/pattern to copy.

just checked numrich out again thought maybe missed something the carrier parts are for the small frame 1881 one could only assume the larger frame carrier would have been scaled up a bit?

I have made the spring a few times over the years for the large frame.

Most likely I could make another one but I no longer have the jig. Would need the carrier to get measurements and build a new jig for bending. Not going to be cheep.
