Quick load - help me pls my friends

Unfortunately, I do not own a PC, IPad only. I hope someone can help and provide me with QL data (psi and velocity) for the following loads:

Load #1:
38 Special case
158 gr SWC
OAL 1.440
5.6 grs Power Pistol
CCI 500 primer
6 inch barrel (38 Special)

Load #2:
38 Special case
158 gr RNL (cast)
OAL 1.550
11.0 grs 2400
CCI 500 primer
6 inch barrel (38 Special)

Power Pistol shows 954 fps
2400 max load is 10.3 1058 fps.

This are theoretical numbers only..

Really need to know exactly what mould you're using. Second load seems sketchy....and perhaps downright dangerous depending on exactly which mould.

The 954fps for the first load is exactly what I'm getting as well, at 14,778psi.


The second load is somewhere between 17-21K, depending on exactly what bullet.

Gotcha….
QL has that at 1,180fps and 22,758psi. Yikes!

Yes, 38-44 load for N frame 38s (Heavy Duty and Outdoorsman) and 357 Magnums.
