After 20 years of good service with my Lyman Universal Decapping Die the pin finally broke (foreign object in the case). Emailed Lyman and told them what I did and asked about ordering a replacement part (which is the entire guts, rod, pin and threaded nut). I did that about a week ago and never heard back from them until the mail came today. Wow, a new replacement and no charge! Thanks Lyman!!

Good deal.
Have you noticed the new equipment from them? I think someone at Lyman is waking the company up. Nice to see.

I had the same experience with them. To say the least, I was surprised.

Wow....maybe I should try, again, to get a replacement t-stat for my Mag-20. I've only been trying for 5-7 years.

Just got off the phone with them about the resevoir cap for a 450 luber to use with the new handle upgrade. I talked with a man named John that is a supervisor in customer service about this cap for 2 of my old lubers. He said no problem and was sending out 2 of the newer style caps at no charge. Maybe they are finally listening to consumer concerns?Robert

Over the last 6 yrs or so some of my Lyman reloading tools have started to break down with wear. Most were purchased between 1984-91 and Lyman has been great in supplying replacement parts and outright replacement of some at no charge. Most recently I ordered a new motor complete with base and hardware for my Turbo 1200 tumbler that has had unbelievable amount of use. It came in a box that was about 2 cu. ft. for the shipping cost of $4.99. This is at a time where J&G Sales' minimum shipping chg is $9.95, Graf & Sons is $7.95, etc. This may seem minor but when you pay $10 to ship a pistol mag or pack of decapping pins elsewhere I think Lyman is doing a great job!
