I have found on, with 90%+ Bluing and 3 very small ring dings. It would have to be shipped to my local FFL, but I think I can get it here for $625 total. Is that not a pretty good deal? Any feedback about the accuracy, etc. of these rifles is appreciated!

Any feedback about the accuracy, etc. of these rifles is appreciated!I don't know if this helps - but I purchased a 94 xtr in 375 NOS in the box that was made in 1986 (I think). It was ridiculously inaccurate with factory ammunition - to the point that I wrote to Winchester about it. I then discovered 38-55. Wow what a difference!! I paid $520 in 2011 at a gunshow in the Rocky Mountain west. My cousin in Alberta has it at the moment and has used it on everything from coyotes (ky-yoots if you're like him) to caribou to black bears. He shoots my take on Buffalo Bore's 38-55 +p loading with a 275gr jacketed bullet going around 1920fps +/-. Price is veeerrrryy skewed I'm sure. Different time, different area of the country, etc. Good luck! Hope you get something you enjoy.

Check completed auctions on Gunbroker. There’s usually a good number of them available for sale at any time. This will give you an idea of current market value and not what people paid for them years ago.

Sounds like a fair price.
