Just made my first run and am very satisfied. Still learning the heat and timing of mold. A couple more heat and cool downs it and i should be on the same page. The question i have is what are you fellas using for gas checks and are you making your own or buying them? Plus do any of you have load data to start me off with? I am shooting a ruger gp100 4in barrel. Thanks in advance for any info.

as far as i know that mold was designed to use the hornady 30 cal. gas checks.

30 cal checks work. Wether you make them yourself or buy commercial. Making them yourself just gives you greater control of them.

Thanks guys . Will have to scrounge up few and try them. Called Hornady for sizes on there gc's but the figures they gave were incomplete, and way out of whack with what i have seen for other sized gc"s .
