OK, thought about venturing down a different trail looking at those sugar loaf boolits that got popular in the first half of the 19th Century.

In their proportions of length versus diameter those boolits are pretty much like most sensible utilitarian middle of the road revolver molds, the kind that you see everyday, basically .36, .41, .43 and .45 diameter. And nowadays you can have .48 and .50 to boot! Looks like it ought to be fairly easy to have a sugar loaf shooter with a wide range of boolit molds to play with and also work well with patched ball.
Anybody traveling that path these days?
