My BIL

My oldest sister's husband has been sick lately, the doctors told him it was a virus for the last 17 days. Found out it is septicemia. He's on some heavy duty antibiotics and having tests run very frequently. He lives in Gulf Breeze, Fla. I dunno what hospital they admitted him to, but my guess, as wild as it is, would be one in P-Cola.

Y'all please say a prayer for him. He's in his mid 70's and not nearly as spry as he was ten years ago....

I texted my sister. They just moved Pete to big Baptist Hospital in P-Cola so he could be followed by the neurosurgeon. My sister can't drive in the dark anymore so she'll go over tomorrow A.M. and stay the night. The only good news is the IV and antibiotics seem to be helping...
Other than that it's kinda dark.....

Pete was discharged Friday and my sister took him home. She has been a nurse all of her life, so they let her give him the IV that he's supposed to have.
He's weak and barely getting around with a walker, but he's home.....
