Six to nine MONTHS lead time? Not me. Especially since they want half the $$ up front.

If I shot an encore, I would have to pass on that.
Factory barrels are pretty much capable of better accuracy than I am.;-)

45/70 barrel listed only in 1-14" twist rate?????

That's the only one I might have been interested in (kind of looking around for one for my son's Encore) but that twist would be all but useless, maybe ok for a 458 magnum, maybe, but a 45/70???

C Sharps, CPA are normally 2-4 months for a complete rifle to be built. I'm having a rifle built and the lead is 4 months. Last order from Kriegers was 6 weeks. The exceptionally long lead times of some cause me worry.

It did not take near that long for Bullberry to make my barrel once I sent them the reamer.
