Looking for a .54 flintlock. Would like something along the lines of the golden age arms style long rifle, not the modern muzzleloaders like Lyman or Thompson Center hawken styles. Thought I'd throw this out to see what might be available. I won't know unless I ask ....

Look into Chambers Flintlocks. They offer many kits & such. I haven't looked lately,, but I know they have had 54 cal kits.

Good morning
Then there is the Muzzleloadingforum .com. They only have traditional pre cartridge in the mind.

Depending on your price range Track of the Wolf has some beautiful rifles but be prepared for sticker shock. On the other hand the rifles they sell are heirloom quality.

If you can't locate anything - you might consider heading down to Friendship when the Spring Nationals are on. Usually quite a few rifles for sale down there. I see you're in Ohio so not that far away if you have the time. Mike has a great suggestion in searching the site he recommended.

JUst took a few rifles to Track of the Wolf and may have a handle on a 54 Hawken and a 58 long rifle. Will post here first.

Any interest in a left hand flintlock? I have a LH Garner/Jones "Grand Rifle" I would consider selling.
