Winchester 4570govt hi wall hammer extension

Is there a hammer extension for Winchester 4570govt hi wall? Just put a scope on it and afraid of my thumb slipping off the hammer

I believe Uncle Mikes and some others make a universal type hammer extension with a set screw that locks it on. moves the spur to the side of the hammer. One can be made also.
I have machined the from 3/8" X 1/2" X 1" long cold rolled steel. a t slot for the spur on the bottom edge and end. I radiused the top to match the hammer spur and .010 deep grooves lengthwise to improve grip. bottom was angled from t slot to end leaving 1/8" thick at end of spur. and this end radiused. Cold blued and polished looked good, but did add weight to hammer slowing it.
