I have a used Remington model 24 Semi-Auto 22lr Rifle.
Browning design, takedown model, schnabel forend, plain pistol grip stock.
Made 1922-35. Blueing gone on receiver.
Barrel has some blueing!
Barrel is shiny and good enough for me at a spry 77 years of age to hit a 6” plate offhand at 50 yards!

is this 22 auto or 22 lr there is difference in that time
check top of barrel if it says 22 auto 22 lr dont work. that may be why it dont shoot good
If it does say 22 auto will take it
