I just got a good deal on 8 pounds of Winchester WST powder. I can't find musch data on it other than in 45ACP (got all I need from the Hodgdon web sight on this one). I am interested in using it in other handgun cartridges I load for target and plinking loads. I would apprciate any data for the following cartridges:

32ACP
380ACP
9MM Luger
38special
45 Colt

Thanks for any input.

My testing in .38 Super in a Spanish Destroyed is that WST is slightly slower than Bullseye. With Lee 358-120-TC 4 gr of Bullseye gives 1220 fps and 4 gr of WST gives 1181 fps. That 50+/- fps was pretty much the same across the board from the starting load to the max I worked up to. Accuracy was equally good with both. I have 5 lbs of it and i use it with that bullet in the Destroyer.

Not exactly what you asked for but it might help.

It should help. If one uses Bullseye starting data and works up, it should be perfectly safe.

I have an old Winchester reloading book, 14th edition, these are the ones they handed out for free. this one is dated 1994.

no info for 9mm, 32 acp, 380 acp or 45 Colt. I do have info for WST in 38 special: 2.5 grains for the 148 target bullets ( holow base or bevel base) and 3.7 grains for the 158 grain SWC

I use 5 gr WST in 45 Colt for light loads, about 750 fps with 230 gr CB's. 3.5 in 32-20 with 100 SWC. 3.5 in 38 Spl with 150-160 gr SWC. Has more bulk that 231.
