Does anybody know what twist NEF (Marlin/Remington) makes their 38-55 barrels with?

Do ya think that will stabilize a 300 grain boolit? I did a Mountain Molds drawing of one and I think he recommended a 1 in 15 twist.

Couldnt tell ya boss. Might work out might not.

The guys on Graybeard are shooting 300 and under.

Should work as long as the Boolit OAL is less than 1.200.(Greenhill Formula)
The Saeco #571 300 gr is 1.120 OAL.
