Anybody still have a .357 Bain & Davis?

What is your opinion? Anyone still making conversions?

I have a contender barrel in 357 B&D. When I got it I thought it was a 357 magnum. Didn't realize it had been rechambered. Kind of a paper weight now as I really don't plan to set up to reload for it. New dies cost more than the barrel did. If I didn't have a 357 Herrett barrel and all reloading stuff for it the B&D would be much more interesting.

Hmm I never thought about the dies. I remember hearing about converting the 9mm cylinder of a .357/9mm Blackhawk to .357 B&D. I have one of those from about 1973 that I thought about getting converted but guess I waited too long! Probably need at least a couple of dies just to form the brass.
