I have a big bottle of Rooster lube, which is the waxy white stuff. Has anyone used this with cast wadcutters?

I tried some Rooster Jacket on 38swc be sure to let it dry completely. I loaded some the day after lubing and had lots of lube get built up on the seater stem.

Have you shot them yet?

This was probably 12-14 years ago. I loaded up about 800 rounds of 38 special for a family reunion CAS shoot. Most of them were shot in two .357 revolvers and a Rossi M92 lever gun. I don't recall having any leading problems. It was just a pain to keep adjusting the seating stem.
For bulk ammo I now use 45-45-10, and don't have the same problems.

IIRC they stopped making Rooster Jacket, so it might be worth more to someone else than just trying to find a use for it.

I use it over my externally lubed 310 Cadet bullets, and "winterizing' paper patched bullets for hunting.

Buffalo Arms sells it.
