I just realized today that I have the RCBS (SPanish Mauser) mold 44-370FN that I use for paperpatching my 45 in-line... Don't know why it should not work in a 45-70 as well..(I guess the question is " How well?"). the rifle is a Shiloh Sharps... anyone have any luck with it or any favorite loads they would be willing to share?

Thanks in advance,

TheMoose

Whoops I see you are talking about 45-70????

The bore riding section of that bullet is too large and will not chamber in my Shiloh 44-77. Several have bought Accurate Molds with similar design as the RCBS but with the max diameter on the nose at .434-436.
