Any impressions are greatly appreciated. I haven't been too keen on Traditions quality seen on other offerings but maybe this is different. Is the Pedersoli Rifle which I believe is not available in Kit form worth the extra cost? I have been impressed by Pedersoli reproduction rifles so any input about this one much appreciated also.

Quality comparisons aside, the Traditions musket kits and guns are manufactured by Chiappa/Armisport.
I recently called Traditions and asked them that question which they verified.

I believe that the main differences are that Traditions is also offering them as kits [at a discounted price] and
providing their own limited lifetime mechanical warranty on the muskets that they sell.

You may want to check out the Lyman kits. I'm partial to the Great Plains model. I'm not a fan of Traditions. The Enfield does not shoulder the same as most other muskets. Try one before you buy one. Try all before you buy one. Pedersoli builds good guns, some people like them, others don't, I guess it's personal preference. Good luck!

You may be able to find solution at N-SSA.org. They sell a lot of Enfields on the Bulletin Board.
