Will bases for a 96 work on a 95?

YES!:Fire:

95's and 96's are small ring actions......Sweeds are better finished and out of the box a little slicker functioning.. All can be made into fine rifles. Just keep the pressures to 40-45k lbs. ie. 7mm pressures. They can even be converted to cock on open if you so desire.......:Fire:

Thanks,I have one in 7.62x39 and have done the cock on open conversion. I think the scope is a little off center and want o use Leupold mounts so I can get more windage adjustment.

Did you aquire it pre drilled? Might be off a bit if you don't use a drill fixture. Leo.... may have different hole spacing too. Does the 7.62 x 39 shoot well? I've thought of building me one.......cheap ammo and low recoil and noise level. Plus better loading densitys for lead boolit loads. Does it feed from the mag? :castmine:
