First off.....MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Second -- can anyone give me any feedback on the above revolver including any cast boolit experience? Never owned an Uberti but it sure is pretty and most of its fodder would be cast/handloads.

Any input appreciated, link posted also.

there was a write up in the last issue of guns of the old west. it got a very good review. their gun was in .45 colt. I have shot some that were in .357 they shot well without any problems. handled my warm 358429 loads just fine.

I can’t speak for that model, but uberti’s are fine guns. The fit and finish is great. I have a .45c saa uberti, and I want a cattleman II in .357 with the brass grip frame. I think they would be more popular if they had more guns with adjustable sights. I have alot of love for uberti’s.

Thanks guys --- and I absolutely agree with adjustable sights. LOVE my Ruger Vaqueros but my one wish would be the ablility to adjust the sights instead of my loads or point of aim. Holding my breath, that is one 'purty pistola!

If it was by Keith Wood, it’s the same article in the current HANDGUNS magazine. Seemed to be favorable but you know how gun rags work.
