Has anyone built a ar15 using Ormonds 80% ar15 lower? What do you think?

I looked at their site, it has the key mark on it so it's a Cerro Forge lower. I built my first and currently building my second on Cerro forge 80% lowers. My first one runs great, good quality feel to it and drilled nice and clean when finishing it. Pretty good in my opinion.

Almost forgot, the only problem I had was when installing a trigger guard, had to enlarge the forward hole by one drill size to get the set screw in but I believe that was a problem with the trigger guard itself not the lower.

Then one needs to be good at drilling other machine work?

Looking at various 80% sites doubt will find much difference between them. Not like some company is making them out of pot metal and dumping them on the market. I have ordered lowers from 3 different companies, and they all work exactly the same as 100% unit from the store.

The Ormond jig, looks exactly like the easy jig I bought without the paint.

Back from vacation and just finished the lower. I used the 80% Arms Gen 1 router jig to do this one, the jig makes drilling the holes very easy on a drill press and milling the pocket was pretty quick with the router. Maybe 2 1/2 hours of work to finish it.
