Thank you!!

I've shot mine both with and without gas checks in .223 single shot with light loads of Red Dot. All depends on how quiet you want to go and what distance your looking at.

If it was me I might start at 6 and work down. Look for accuracy nodes.

Might be fun to plink them... just remember that 22 cal boolits are mighty touchy to differences in weight and so on... I see they are wearing alum gas checks... so like Gohst hawk says, small loads of red dot are ideal....

I bought that mold after playing with some Trail Boss and jacketed stuff but haven't progressed farther.
I was getting an average of 1165fps with 4.0gr of Trail Boss from my 22" 1:12" twist barrel using 55gr jacketed bullets.
The 55gr Remington PSP did fine at that velocity but every single 55gr Nosler Varmint bullet keyholed. At higher velocities the Nosler did fine.
You might not have a problem with that twist rate and bullet combo, if so (for the sake of experiment) run the velocity up to see if the problem works itself out.

Use any of the fast pistol powders. Go as low as 1 grain (or lower), just be sure the bullet made it out the barrel before the next shot.

I had fair accuracy out to 80 yards in one of my 223's with the old style Lee Bator using Bullseye giving an MV of 1400 but using those pistol powders in such low quantities always made me nervous. You can't even tell if there might be a double charge by shining a light down into the case. That TB load is interesting.
