A friend of mine has this part that is believed to be for a Star Progressive. Anyone know what it is?

I have seven stars. it does not look like any standard part I have. Might be an add on.

I have a C-H Mark IV and it doesn't belong to that press. I'm almost sure it was intended for the Star based on the curved leading edge, which has a similar radius and the original owner had experimented with a few retrofits for the press. I'm leaning in the direction of a bullet feeder at the moment.

I'd pm member rbwillnj for his thoughts. He owns Star Machine Works now and has probably seen more Star stuff then most folks. Real nice guy.

Thanks for the kind words, but I can't be of much help. I have seen those parts before and I believe they are part of an indexer of bullet feeder for a Star, but couldn't say which. Not from a common model of either. Like your friend, the parts I saw came with a Star reloader I purchased, but were not attached.
