I found a 8lb keg of W295 on sale for $145! :D

I shoot that a lot in my 44 Mag and 30 cal Tokarev, but I was going to go through my stock and move to A2400... BUT... Now I'm gonna be shooting W296 for a little while. :bigsmyl2:

Could you share where you came across this deal? Is there more available at that price?

I found it at the gun show at Del Mar, CA. They also had WLP primers for $24.95 / 1000. It was like I walked into a "what I load" special.

That’s about the price I paid last time I bought it. Looking at prices now has a habit of angering me. Prices were a good bit cheaper a year or two back. I should have bought more. Same goes for primers at $20.

It won't last, that's only about 2,333 rounds.

6" is the longest barrel I load for and 2400 is about $148 shipped from powder valley if you fill the box. I get 2,800 rounds/keg but it still don't last long.

That's less depressing than a Varget Keg @ 52 grain/round...

We must be shopping different places. I haven't seen prices as cheap as they are now (especially with the discounted shipping/free hazmat deals) in 10-15 years.

Powder Valley is the barometer. Their prices are more expensive now then a year ago let alone 10-15. Just as one example they’re charging $159.50 for H110. It used to be around $130 about two years ago. I’m at work and when I get home I will check to see what I actually paid. If you think prices are cheaper now then 10-15 years ago then you were getting royally ripped off back then.
