No not caliber :) my lil rifle is a model 600 35 Rem :) Today was next to last day of our Pa season so I took the day off work , perfect morning about 20 degrees and a fresh inch of snow on the ground . Got in my stand about 7 fired the shot at 7:15 . That was my fastest ever ! Was a 70 ish yard shot . Load was the 190 gr ranchdog and 37 gr 4895 . Hit her a hair high behind the should exited at the top of the blade opposite side . Still got the top of the lungs she ran about 50 yd then crashed . Exit hole was about 1" . Been using this lil gun for many many years now the last 6 with cast only and once again she hasn't let me down .

I have a Model 600 in 6mm Remington. My Dad bought it at an auction for $75.00, the auctioneer thought it was a .22. I have not yet blooded it, but it is wonderfully accurate, loaded with 100 grain Nosler Partitions or 85 grain LRNGC's over H1000...…...robin

Good job! The 600 is a hunting rifle supreme with it's dimensions and offhand feel. The bonus is the incredible accuracy.

Couldn't agree more especially in the tangles I normally hunt . I've hunted with that rifle since I was 12 I'm 50 now and can count on one hand the times I used another rifle in the regular season . Stick with what works !

Nice deer! I'm still waiting on my 15 min hunt. I'm sure it'll happen one of these days!

My brothers first rifle was a Mohawk 600 6mm that you could really hit thumb tacks at 100 yards with.

I think my pap was smiling down on me today as I remember being out with him a few times before I was old enough to shoot myself and him killing some in the first half hour or so . Here's to ya pap !!

Good for you, my brother has a 600 in 35 Remington and used it this year to take a deer.

I had a 600 in 6mm for a long time, which I foolishly let go. It was very accurate. They are kinda funny looking, but good rifles. Something like that in .35 Remington would be an awesome combo.

Indeed it is IMO , and if your so inclined it can handle higher pressure loads than the marlins , it's debatable if it's needed and still won't turn it into a 300 yd ctg but it does give one that option To load to "+p levels" Neither me or the deer I've killed with it knew the difference between a Rem factory corlock or the couple times I've loaded beyond book max . So I load for accuracy as my main goal these days with cast .

Oh, I can imagine. Our muleys out here live on creosote bush and buckbrush, and their flavor bears that out.

A Rem 600 in 35 Remington is a "civilized 9.3 x 62". A hunting machine.

That Doe is bigger than the Blacktail bucks we have here in Oregon.
