Just a thought: Slug the barrel, then pull the nipples from the removed cylinder and drive a ball in flush in each hole. With the nipples out you can can insert a rod and knock the balls out for measurement.

If will probably allow you better shooting if you know these diameters. There are cases where quality shooting only comes with the cylinder chambers being reamed. BvT
