Need Paryers for my Daughter in Law

Kate was diagnosed with breast cancer a couple of weeks ago, and has a bilateral mastectomy scheduled for December 18. The type of cancer that she has is considered 'easily' treatable and very survivable. Still, that's an incredibly frightening situation to be in. Kate is a strong, intelligent lady (an MD herself), and we have all become quite attached to her. Kate's mother, Jane, is a 10-year breast cancer survivor, so she has a pretty good support mechanism in place. Still, what lies beyond surgery is still an unknown - chemo, radiation, etc. Kate and Jerry, my youngest son, also have a 4 year old daughter, Ceci. I would truly appreciate your prayers for them.

One of our friends had a double mastectomy 8 weeks ago and a rebuild at the same time. She was miserable for about 3 weeks but she is doing well....I suspect that Kate will go through the same and a bunch of prayers seems to help.....Good luck Kate we are pulling for you!

Father please be with Kate as she undergoes her mastectomy. Please take all fears away and allow her to approach her healing through You. Father, You are the great healer and I implore You to guide her physicians through out her surgery and recovery process. AMEN
