Im starting to cast my own Maxi-Balls and wondering what lube would give me the best results in an inline. I currently have Jake's 50/50 ALOX, Jakes Ceresin Purple(Preheat required) and Hodgdon ALOX lube. Im going to be shooting these with approx. 100gr. Pyrodex select granulated or 777 pellets with 209 primers.
Thanks in advance.

Do you think it would be ok to use the 50/50 or any others that I listed with good results?

I have heard of some that do use alox but it is wrote in some BP books that the combination of Alox or petrolium based products and BP and alot of your BP substitutes will turn to a tar like substance in the barrel. That and BP and most BP substitutes need to keep the powder fouling soft.

Exactly...

No petroleum lubes for BP or subs.. Fowling becomes a PITA to get out, I've seen it.

The reason I asked was because not long ago I cast my first 50 caliber boolits and used the alox and had no problems with it. I would only get 3 shots before accuracy started to go but I wouldn't need 3 shots while deer hunting anyway. I also didn't have any problems with cleaning.
