My wife got me a Springfield Armory Range Officer for Christmas. I think she likes me a little bit. I have wanted one for a long time.

I went to Caballas to look at one. I asked the guy to remove the lock so I could examine the trigger. He said they don't do that. I handed it back to him and told him that was like asking me to buy a car without a test drive.

I went to Fin Feather Fur in Ashland Ohio. They let me fully examine it AND it was almost $100 cheaper.

That goes together with the 8 pounds of 231 I have and that 130 pounds of hardball alloy. I'll be powder coating them with Eastwood ford blue.

Cabela's went down the crapper when it got bought out. Even the attitude of the workers is different. You can tell when a work force is distressed.

Ya not a fan of Cabelas just go there to window shop and rearrange the store pick stuff up walk around with it change my mind put it down and leave

Cabelas keeps their guns locked up because a customer walked in with ammo in his pocket,placed a round in a gun and killed himself. #2 son works part time at a smaller Cabelas in their gun library. He won't unlock guns for me.
