Howdy. I got this powder measure in a box of goodies at a gun show. Did an internet search a had no hits. Anyone have any info on it such as age and value?? The name on the base appears to be "TOGIBRE". Maybe Italian??231010231011231012

Interesting measure for sure. Notice it does have brass and steel. Looks like the pivot areas are brass on steel which would be anti spark which is good when using BP. But from the pictures it is hard to tell if that is true in all areas of the pivot.

I believe the top and bottom of the pivot area are cast iron and the pivot mechanism itself is brass along with the brass hopper.

Is the amount of "product" thrown adjustable? Could be for either powder or shot in my estimation. Never saw one like it, that's for sure!

Yes, The measure has an adjustable bar that regulates how much powder is dropped.

That’s nice and looks to be in great condition
And I thought I had the cats meow when I found a boxed belding and mull while throwing trash into a dumpster

Bringing this back to the top in hopes that a fresh set of eyes can provide some info.

Pretty interesting and a fine find. One of a kind machinist made perhaps. He certainly made the hopper out of flat sheet and rolled it with a bead at the top to set the lid on. Then added a window later.

That’s a pretty cool looking measurer. No idea on either question. But if your asking for a value and going to sell it just throw it on up on auction at eBay. The final bid will tell you what it is or isn’t worth.

Togibre is Italian. There is a line of shotgun reloading tools under that name, couple of powder /shot measures, scales, crimp closers etc.
