Went in the local shop today, Christmas shopping. Intention was one of the heritage single actions for my son. Told him was pretty much same as my first gun, tho mine was a clunker german one that spent more time broke than working. Ended up w the birdhead grip vs square, and came 2 the extra 22mag cyl.
But in the next case they had an odd looking 1911, had a Beretta 92 looking barrel. 22mag? Maybe it was a 22tcm. No the new 22mag they came out with. Feels and weighs like a 1911. Funky floating sleeved barrel for it to work. Online reviews are all pretty good. Already have an old AMT compact I ended up with that shoots pretty good. So put some money down on it, apparently they are not easy to get. So guess need to stock more 22mag.
