Will add my lever guns here. This is the Whitney-Kennedy. I took it down as far as I could. I discovered that nearly every component of this rifle is stamped with the serial number. It's nice seeing everything is original from factory. 44-40

I like the look of that rifle! Im a fan of those types of levers. I have a similar one on a stevens single shot .32RF. Before buying it I had a choice of the stevens or a Rem. Rolling Block .32RF. I got the stevens, I just liked the way it looked, probably not the best decision for a collectors point of view! :)

What other rifles you got?

Well, after seeing hickok45's vid on Winchester development, I started collecting those: models 1873, 1876, 1892, 1894, 1895. Got the new version of the 1866 most recently. Then I started in on Marlins: model 1881 small receiver version, 1891 4th variation, 1893, 1894, and a 336. Then I got a Spencer, an Old Model Evans Repeater, and a New Model Evans Repeater. That's all the lever guns. Looking to add some more... The Henry 1860 will be a reproduction; not ready to spend for the real McCoy.

Nice Marlins! I Have some of everything. I like Winchesters mostly though. I have a few of those. 1873,1886, Pump.22, bolt action .22. Id like an 1895, and a highwall. I have shotguns and stevens single shot, and levers. Whatever I like... I buy.

Single shot lever guns. The mechanism is operated with a lever. You can post them in the Single shot thread if you want. I posted some here awhile ago.

Its a moose call. My grand-father went on a hunting trip and a native-american was making them. He asked for one, so he made one infront of him.

A few I have been working on. The 86 came in with the barrel cut off and I did some trading and ended up with it. Now it is in 40-64 with a 28" barrel. The 73 was fond in the crawl space under a house that was tore down. Both were made in 1893. The 85 was a gift from one of my customers and someone had put a 30-40 barrel on it. It now has a 38-55 barrel made out of 12L14, one of the first barrels I rifled myself. Also just finished a Whitney Kennedy 44-40.

The biggest caliber they ever made was 70-150 which can't be confirmed, only two and they supposedly went to Africa. The 85 was chambered in almost every caliber.

The original mag tube was rusted to far to use. The barrel was a gift from a friend and it now has a liner in it. The original wood will probably work but the nose cap will need some work, it was held on with a bent nail. Caliber is 32-20.

I would atleast minimum like a 45-70 but not a new production one.

Here's a couple lever guns at one of my favorite hunting spots. Have shot a lot of deer from here- last one was with a Uberti iron frame Henry 44-40. Saw a nice buck here this year just a bit too far in the brush for a decent shot. Carried the ole 76 most of the season, took out the 95 on the last day. Muzzleloader season now, maybe still a chance to fill my tag.

Beautiful guns veeman. I especially like the 1890 Remington pistol. A friend of mine has one that was issued to his father who was a Indian police officer on the Apache reservation. If you watch the movie Ride The High Country, you can get a good view of one that Randolph Scott Is shooting in the last scene It is an original with pearl grips. I like your '94 also. I have two 38-55s but mine are single shots. I love the cartridge.

The wood on that bottom one looks great!

The bottom one is the .44 and the top one is the .45-70.

The .44 looked so bad that I scraped the paint off it and after sanding and a few coats of Tru Oil the Fiddleback came out and the wood started looking pretty nice.

The .45-70's wood has almost no character whatsoever. I refinished it and it came out nice but nothing to get swelled up about.
