I have an opportunity to get a pair of Belleview Boots free or at a very reduced price.

I get to pick which model of Belleview I want.

My criteria are: waterproof, minimum 8" tall, no zipper, non-insulated.

Anyone have some experience with Belleview Boots that they care to share?

I wore them when I worked for the prison system. They held up good on concrete and steel steps and had good support. The ones I wore were probably 8 inch gortex lined and had little if any insulation. They looked like combat boots the military use. Im sorry I don't remember the model number. I liked them...……..curdog

I’ve worn Belleville boots for the better part of 15 years. They make a good, comfortable, durable boot.

These are the ones I wear:http://bellevillebootoutlet.com/belleville-usmc-boots.html

I wear the 500 and 590 series boots.

I wear Belleville 633ST boots for work. I am on my second pair. The first pair lasted for close to two years, IIRC. The second pair developed a squeak after about 6 months (however, it may be me as I have developed squeaks in a pair of Corcoran jump boots and a pair of Rocky S2V boots also). I'm living with the squeak as the boots are otherwise in good shape. I plan on ordering a pair of Belleville 533ST boots in the next several months, as I will need the different color in the near future (the only difference between the 533ST and 633ST is color). My experience with the one model that I have purchased is that they do run true to size. I typically wear a 9.5 athletic shoe and ordered 9.5 in the Belleville boots, too.

I was issued Belleville 790s in basic training and wore them for most of my 8 years in the Army. Much more durable than anything else I tried, very comfortable, and the waterproofing was nearly perfect (there was that one time they went through a hurricane and EVERYTHING got soaked). I tried about half a dozen competitors, all of which failed to hold up in some way (usually durability). The only downsides to the 790s were the weight and the fact that they scream "military".
