These are the classic 190 gr. RF that is probably the most common bullet for the 38-40. They are cast using 1/2 pure lead and 1/2 linotype. Sized .401 and lubed with Thompson Blue Angel and average 192 grains. That's a grab sample of ten after sizing and lubing.
I bought a Cimarron "Peacemaker" clone in 38-40 and naturally, immediately cast up a couple thousand of these bullets only to find out my gun does not especially like this bullet. It shoots them accurately enough but not to point of aim. So I cast around (pun intended) for a bullet that would shoot POA. Now I have these bullets and before I recast them into something else I thought someone here might be able to use some.
$.06 each plus shipping. I can get about 460 in a SFR box with sufficient packing to, hopefully, have them arrive intact.
